The Mattituck Chamber of Commerce and the residents of our town want to welcome you to our Old Fashioned Street Fair. There will be food, entertainment and many unique arts and crafts to be sold. Our 33rd Annual Mattituck Street Fair is scheduled for Saturday July 10th, 2010. We will have a rain date on the next day, Sunday the 11th of July on a rain or shine basis. The fair will be listed on the calendar of events on Radio, in Newsday, the North Fork Promotions Guide, the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce Web Site and local papers. Set-up time is 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM. Due to the width of Love Lane, and for the safety of all involved, we will appreciate a fast set-up and car removal from the fair grounds ASAP. All vehicles must be clear of the streets and parked in the designated vendor parking lot no later than 8:45 AM. Booth size will be 10 (Ten) feet wide. If you need more space to show your goods, please order a second or third space. Since we sold out of space last year, we ask you to register early. The fee per 10ft space is $150 if paid by May 15, 2010. The fee for any applications submitted after May 15 will be $175. We reserve the right to reject any merchandise or application that we feel is not appropriate for a family-oriented fair. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST be received by May 31, 2010 in order to have time to apply for Suffolk County Health Dept. approvals for FOOD booths (This includes non perishable items such as candy, nuts, dried fruit, etc.). Spaces will be sold on first come first served basis, so please submit your application and check promptly for the appropriate amount. Any vendors looking for space after May 31st will be based on availability. Final space assignments will be made on or about July 1st. Please also note that vendors selling inappropriate items to minors (knives, lighters, etc.) will be asked to leave the fair and will not be invited to future events.
